Ithaca Promotional Committee

This has been a busy summer in Ithaca. Thirty one kids participated in a Kid’s Camp that was held on July 26 in Woodland Park. They enjoyed a variety of activities and concluded with a water ball battle. On July 27, the Master Gardeners set up a tour of several home’s gardens, in and around the city of Ithaca. Rural Urban Day, held in St. Louis, had a good crowd and honored the Jim Slavik Family as Farm Family of the Year and Agri-Business of the Year went to Misenhelder Welding of Ithaca.

The Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Commercial Bank’s Parking lot has been a big success. We will have an additional Farm Market in Woodland Park on August 10 featuring several vendors.

The Ithaca Promotional Committee along with the Downtown Development Authority has created an Ithaca brochure. The brochure includes a map of Ithaca and is a great source of information for visitors and locals alike.
