Our Mission
The Gratiot Area
Chamber of Commerce is its members' business advocate that encourages
positive economic growth and quality of life.
Our Motivation
The Gratiot Area
Chamber of Commerce is a "market-driven" organization. The markets
that the Chamber serves direct the development of the organization itself
and the nature of its products, services and activities. The two prime
markets we serve are the membership and the community at large. Membership
includes, retail, professional, service, manufacturing, small business,
not-for-profit, and commercial interests. Both markets have high significance
for our organization now and in the future.
Other forces are
at work in the broader environment that will help drive the activities
of the Chamber. The Chamber also exists to provide products and services,
which meet needs that no other organization can meet. In order to do many
of the things that are required, the Chamber is also driven by the need
to expand the membership base.
